The Challenge:

Develop a breakthrough puzzle concept.

The Solution:

My team learned that great puzzles use stimuli and feedback to get the user to create order out of chaos. Using the Rubik’s Cube as a case study, we developed a “Rubik’s Cube for sound”--an audio puzzle called CODA. In a growing educational toys market, we positioned CODA as a way to teach children about pattern recognition and basic music theory.
